As we have had so many new members, I thought we could revive this, here are some guidelines :

The limerick is a poem of five lines. The first two lines rhyme with the fifth. The third line rhymes with the fourth.

A limerick contains three metrical feet in lines one, two and five, and two metrical feet in lines three and four. Hence:

1 da da DUM da da DUM da da DUM
2 da da DUM da da DUM da da DUM
3 da da DUM da da DUM
4 da da DUM da da DUM
5 da da DUM da da DUM da da DUM

You will never get away with writing a limerick that does not rhyme. The last word of lines one, two and five must rhyme with each other, and so must the last words of lines three and four. It is an aabba pattern, and there are only rare exceptions.

My girlfriend had put on my sweater,
The one with my big high school letter,
And it then seemed to me,
And I'm sure you'll agree,
On her it looked quite a bit better.

It's easier if you copy & paste the previouse lines then add yours, if you finish a limerick, you give the first line of the next one.

It's more fun being a girl than a guy!

As for you, Soo - you're a disruptive influence. I've reported you to the LWU (Limerick Writers' Union), who will discuss at their AGM what action to take against you. Options include sending you to live in a commune of non-rhyming poets - a terrible punishment I know, but one which fits the crime of disturbing our rhythm...
