If anyone is interested in joining this trip/tour, then your 'imput' would be most welcome |
We need a couple or three tours of the area; suggestions-
Puy Mary D680
DaveR "If you follow some of my route, when you get to Mauriac I suggest take the road to Condat, then Puy De Sancy and then to Mont Dore, and onwards to Puy de Dome. I didn't have time to go that way in one day's ride, but that's where the serious volcanos are."
Maybe some imput into the tours, and less of the camping accessories would be good.
'Soon be upon us' - So, if I plan the Puy Mary tour; then others can work on some different tours?
Mon 6 Sept - Thurs 9 Sept
(or the first 3/4 days, after that, of good weather.)
Staying at Camping Municipal de Murat. http://www.camping-murat.com/
with touring the area from that site;
Simon
Phil in France
Bugbear
Kritichris
Snorkel
Veerod
Daglanman
anyone else interested, please make yourself known

I think its pretty well planned out by now with the exception of rides we will do whilst there. I think its better we start on RVs etc. once transfered to the rideout section. With all this lovely hot sunny weather we are having I hope it does'nt break come camping time.

Thanks Daglanman for the pics of the site - looks good! I'd forgotten what green looked like
Seems like we'll be able to catch some fish out of our tents for breakfast
I'll post this trip up shortly in the rideout section, then we can make the rdv's
